Besides acting, Khanna made her singing debut when recording the film's title track in April 2017. The soundtrack album was released digitally and on DVD on 13 September 2017 a music launch function was held at Kochi for the occasion. Dubbing rights to the songs were sold for ₹1 crore. They argue and engage in hand-to-hand combat Mathew defeats Shaktivel and spares him because he believes that Shaktivel could still become a good doctor after treating his mental illness. The sledgehammer of clichéd cinematic sequences often strikes throughout the film, but what makes Jilebi reasonably delicious is that it banks on the evergreen sentiments that Malayalis still have for their ‘veedu’, ‘naadu’, ‘paadam’, ‘krishi’, et al. Their uncle Sreekuttan (Jayasurya), a traditionalist at heart and farmer by profession, finds it tough to catch up with their ways and hardly gets along with the naughty kids. Its story is simple and thought-provoking, but something that we have already watched a million times, mostly as sub-plots.
